Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How far in advance should I do my wedding trial?
A. Depending on the season and the day of the wedding. Khuraita recommends 3 months at least before the wedding date.
Q. Should my hair be done before my makeup?
A.It does not matter if your hair is not being washed.
Q. Should I wear a waterproof mascara for my special occasion?
A.If any tearing is expected, waterproof mascara is definitely the way to go.
Q. Will airbrush makeup stain my outfit?
A.Airbrush makeup is smudge proof, water resistant and would not stain your outfit.
Q. Lash extension is a big thing, but would it damage my natural lashes?
A.Follow Khuraira's advice and recommendations in the section lash extension and you will be safe.
Q. What is the difference between waxing and brow threading?
A.With brow threading, brows are defined using a thread, whereas with waxing glue is used for brow shaping. Khuraira highly recommends brow threading as it is safer and achieves a much better result.
Q. Should I curl my eye-lashes?
A.Khuraira personally does not recommend it. She would prefer you using a thickening mascara by applying a wand half way starting from the lash base to the tip, and fanning it outwards which gives a beautiful lash curl effect.
Q. Should I have my daughter airbrushed for her Bat Mitzvah?
A.Absolutely. Airbrush makeup used on teens and pre-teens evens out any imperfection without the makeupy look and make them camera ready. Besides, airbrush makeup is waterproof and smudge-proof and outlasts any conventional makeup.
Q. Is a smoky look recommended as a wedding look?
A.Makeup looks are a matter of preference. When it comes to bridal makeup, Khuraira recommends a natural finish preferably in brown tones for a timeless, elegant look.
Q. Is it recommended to travel to the makeup artist's or hairstylist's location for your special event, specially a wedding?
A.Khuraira recommends that the princess stays put and get pampered in her desired environment.
